FARGO, N.D. — About 50 Airmen from the Fargo-based 119th Wing will return to North Dakota this week. The group of "Happy Hooligans" is returning from a six-month overseas deployment in southwest Asia.

The Airmen will arrive at 1 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at the North Dakota Air National Guard base ramp. They are part of the nearly 150 Happy Hooligans who deployed in 2017, which was the unit's largest deployment since the Korean War.

Maj. Gen. Al Dohrmann, North Dakota adjutant general, and Col. Britt Hatley, 119th Wing commander, as well as other state and wing leaders, will be in attendance to greet the returning Airmen with their families.
